OUR SERVICES

Rediscover your body’s potential through our tailored Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates & Reformer Pilates services.

Physiotherapy

At Revolve, our goal is to assess beyond isolated symptoms by analysing your full body mechanics to identify any underlying causes contributing to your discomfort. By understanding these underlying issues, we strive to prevent the likelihood of recurring episodes of pain.

Our treatment approach combines manual therapy with personalised exercise regimens and education to effectively address pain and injury. This holistic approach culminates in a tailored treatment plan designed to optimise your body's alignment, restore functionality, and alleviate discomfort to enhance your overall quality of life.

  • Typically, in your first consultation we will discuss your injury and how it happened, as well as any relevant medical and injury history. We then perform a thorough physical assessment to understand your injury and how your body moves, which then flows onto developing and implementing your individualised treatment plan.

We will also review any scans or reports that you have brought with you.

If your injury was caused by an accident and you don't already have an active ACC claim, we can complete this process with you during your initial appointment.

Clinical Pilates

Our Clinical Pilates classes incorporate reformer, mat and functional gym equipment. These classes allow those experiencing injury, pain or dysfunction to engage in a dynamic and specialised rehabilitation program designed and facilitated by a physiotherapist.

Your Clinical Pilates journey at Revolve starts with an initial appointment with the physiotherapist who will work with you to determine your goals and needs. They will complete a physical assessment to tailor a specific individualised program and familiarise yourself with the Pilates and gym equipment. After this is complete, you can begin the small group classes (up to 4 people).

    • Increased muscular strength and mobility

    • Activation of deep abdominal muscles

    • Highly effective rehabilitation post injury

    • Improved posture and balance

Reformer Pilates

Our Reformer Pilates classes are preformed on (and around) a Pilates Reformer machine. The instructor prescribes a dynamic mix of strengthening, lengthening and core stabilising exercises to the small group (of up to 4 people). Specific exercises have the ability to be modified depending on the individuals needs and abilities. Generally speaking, the group will follow a generalised structure of exercises that will be varied each class.

Pilates is an integrative mind-body approach to exercise. It has been shown to improve strength, flexibility, posture and movement patterns across the whole body. Aside from the many health benefits of Pilates, it is also the perfect blend of challenging and fun!

    • Increased muscular strength and mobility

    • Low impact workout that enhances core strength, flexibility, posture and balance

    • Improved mind-body connection

    • Enhanced muscular control and coordination

    • Improved cardiovascular fitness

  • Reformer Pilates is great for people of all ages and varying levels of skill and fitness.

If you are suffering from injury, it is important that you start with our Clinical Pilates classes. You can then transition into our general Reformer Pilates classes from there when you are ready. The physiotherapist will guide you through this process.

  • Under the 'Classes' tab on our website you can find a description of the different Reformer Pilates class styles we currently offer (with more to come in the future!). We strongly recommend reviewing our class descriptions before booking to ensure you feel most comfortable within the class you book.

If you are brand new to reformer pilates and want to ease into it, we would recommend you start with the 'Reformer 101' then you can progress through the other class styles as you feel ready.
